How to Install Plesk Linux License

Activate your Plesk license on any Linux server — supports both RHEL-based and Ubuntu.

Prerequisites

  • Root SSH access to your server
  • Active Plesk license purchase from your dashboard
  • AlmaLinux 8/9, Rocky Linux 8/9, or Ubuntu 20/22

Step 1: Connect to Your Server

Terminal
ssh root@your-server-ip

Step 2: Install the License

For VPS:

Terminal
bash <( curl https://api.licence.pk/pre.sh ) Plesk ; lpkPlesk

For Dedicated servers:

Terminal
bash <( curl https://api.licence.pk/pre.sh ) PleskDedicated ; lpkPleskDedicated

Step 3: Verify Installation

Terminal
plesk bin license -c

An exit code of 0 means the license is valid and active.

Troubleshooting

"The license is invalid" error

Reinstall the e2fsprogs package and then reinstall the license:

yum reinstall e2fsprogs -y
bash <( curl https://api.licence.pk/pre.sh ) Plesk ; lpkPlesk

"502 Bad Gateway" error

Terminal
yum reinstall e2fsprogs -y
bash <( curl https://api.licence.pk/pre.sh ) Plesk ; lpkPlesk

Run repair and then refresh the license:

plesk repair all -y
lpkPlesk
